The AL-KO Group of
Companies

The AL-KO Kober Group was founded in 1931 by Alois
Kober and began as a small welding shop. The AL-KO Group is currently managed by his three
sons Herbert, Kurt and Willy Kober; and grandson Roland Kober.
AL-KO has grown to be an international market leader
with 40 companies throughout Europe, the United States, Australia and Asia. Together AL-KO
employs 4,000 people world wide.
AL-KO is headquartered in Koetz, Germany, a small
farming community in Bavaria. This is home to centralized engineering and quality control
departments which insure world wide consistency of AL-KO Products.
In 1984, the AL-KO Group started its United
States Operations in Elkhart, Indiana.
AL-KO Kober Corporation has grown to be a full line axle and brake manufacturer and industry
leader. AL-KO now has manufacturing facilities in Shawnee, Oklahoma; Seminole Oklahoma;
Elkhart, Indiana; Ontario, California; and Baldwyn,
Mississippi.
